The Submission Plan 2014 was submitted to East Staffordshire Borough Council and was formally consulted upon in December 2014, following this the Submission Plan 2014 was examine by an Independent Examiner in February 2015. Following the Examination Report the Steering Group, alongside East Staffordshire Borough Council, have made changes to the Plan which will be consulted upon and examined again.
What is a neighbourhood plan?
The Neighbourhood Plan will allow people, who live, work and have a business in the area to have a say where they think new houses, businesses and shops should go and what they should look like. The Neighbourhood Plan will be a statutory plan which means that once it has been finalised, it will be the starting point for deciding planning applications in the area.
